Laura Scofield is a Brazilian-born, New York-based graphic designer, and educator. She’s currently Sr. Design Manager at The Atlantic Re:think, a Part-Time Faculty at The New School and currently serving as board member of AIGA-NY. Previously, she had worked at Pentagram and DesignStudio.

Laura holds an MA from the School of Visual Arts in Design Research, Writing and Criticism, a MA in Design, and a BA in Graphic Design.

In her free time, you’ll find her researching and writing about vexillology (the study of flags).

Awards & Recognition

Laura’s work has been recognized by the Type Directors Club, D&AD, Cannes Lions, Red Dot, Print & How, iF and Brazil Design Awards. Her master research was awarded with Honorable Mention in Brazil and had projects showcased in Novum Magazine and Print Magazine.
